Cairo, September 16th, 2024: Crédit Agricole Egypt Foundation for Development and Education First Foundation celebrated the graduation of Ebhar Misr Program Class of 2024. Aiming to reinforce youth development and open new horizons for future generations, the two foundations launched the program to discover and nurture exceptional talents of young Egyptians aged from 14 to 18 years old in the fields of arts, science and technology.

Launched under the auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the Ministry of Education and Technical Education in 2018, this program directly aligns with the bank’s focus on providing equal opportunities for youth from both genders to grow their potential since early stages of their lives.

The graduation ceremony for the Class of 2024 was held at New Generation School Theatre, New Cairo, and attended by young graduates and their parents, with the participation of Phillippe Lods, Deputy to the Cooperation and Cultural Action Counsellor in charge of the French education abroad, beside a number of key figures from both entities. The event was marked by captivating musical and drama performances, in addition to engaging presentations and speeches that celebrate the achievements of the graduates. The program is supported by renowned artists such Hany Shenoda in music and Tarek El Desouki in drama who equip young talents with the needed skills to excel in their respective fields.

Each year, a new cohort of 20-25 participants is carefully selected to embark on a two-week boot camp, based on a three-round screening process. Since its launch and to date, the program graduated around 120 young talents, including the 18 graduates from this year’s cohort. Beyond the initial boot camp, the program provides continuous support to all participants offering year-round skill development trainings and university scholarships for eligible students.

Ebhar Misr Program organizes a variety of events including annual art exhibition featuring paintings and sculptures, as well as drama, music instruments performance and singing, all designed to celebrate and elevate the creative abilities of these talented youngsters.

On the occasion of 2024 Graduation Ceremony, Hassan Serag, Managing Director of CAE Foundation for Development, underlined the significance of the ongoing collaboration with Education First Foundation and said, “Ebhar Misr program is one of the initiatives funded by CAE Foundation to achieve sustainable development of young talents.
