Applying precautionary measures
Hammering on Crédit Agricole Egypt’s staff wellbeing, several precautionary measures were taken:
- Distributing masks and gloves on staff
- Maintain social distance
- Placing signs for social distancing at elevators
- Security guards check staff temperature using non-contact thermometers everyday
- Secure proper hygienic workplace through intensive regular cleaning with a minimum 3 times a day.
- Hand sanitizer’s gels are available
- Favor digital communication: videoconferencing, teleconferencing instead of physical meetings
- Limit local trips and stop international trips
- Reduce commuting between branches and head office and between branches and branches as well
- Stop all activities and training for mass number
- Limit meetings and receiving outside visitors for Head office
- Stop food delivery to the bank’s premises
- Equip cash staff with sanitization
- Avail resident doctor in the Head Office to check staff upon need
- E-leaning awareness course about COVID-19
- In order to ensure the safety of staff who are working at head office building and avoid congestion, smart working solution was implemented and staff started working remotely.
