Investment Policy

The fund manager can invest in:

  • Egyptian government treasury bills and bonds up to 60% of the fund’s assets
  • Corporate and financial institution bonds up to 25%
  • Short-term near-cash instruments up to 50%

Fund Manager

Hermes Fund Management Group (HFM) is a fully owned subsidiary of EFG-Hermes Group. The group was formed in 1996 after the merger between Egyptian Financial Group and Hermes. EFG-Hermes SAE was floated on the Egyptian Stock Exchange and the London Stock Exchange in 1998. The Asset Management unit manages 26 local and offshore funds, with total assets of approximately USD 4.3 billion, as of September 30th, 2009.

No subscription fee. Clients may subscribe during bank working days between 8:30 A.M. and 12:00 noon. Any client orders placed after 12:00 noon. will be executed on the following business day.

Redemption Fee

No redemption fee. Again, clients can redeem ICs during every bank working day between 8:30 A.M. and 12:00 noon. Any client orders placed after 12:00 noon. will be executed the following business day.
